Anthony J. Catanese, M.D., F.A.C.S. graduated from St. John’s University in 1979. In 1983, he graduated with honors from the New York Medical College. He completed his urology residency at New York University/Bellevue Hospital in 1989 which includes six months at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital. Dr. Catanese in a former member of the Board of Trustees at Somerset Medical Center. He is the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Somerset Medical Center. He has been voted "Top Doctor" in Urology in the New Jersey Monthly Magazine 1996, 2005 and 2009. Dr. Catanese professional interests include urologic oncology and kidney surgery.
Neel P. Shah, MD graduated from Northwestern University in 2000. He later graduated with AOA high honors from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2005. He completed his urology residency in 2010 at the New Jersey Medical School and Hackensack University Hospital. Growing up in Warren, New Jersey, Dr. Shah is very excited to return to Somerset County. Dr. Shah has published numerous articles and book chapters including robotic surgery. He has extensive training in stone disease, urologic oncology, male and female incontinence and robotic surgery.
Lori E. Jones, MD graduated from Furman University in 2003 with a degree in Neuroscience. She went on to complete medical school in Charleston, South Carolina at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007. She completed her Urologic Surgical residency at the New Jersey Medical School and Hackensack University Medical Center in 2012. Dr. Jones has presented research abstracts at several urologic conferences and meetings, including the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the New York Section of the American Urologic Association, and the Engineering and Urology Society. During her residency she was the recipient of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award (2012). Dr. Jones is a member of the American Urologic Association, the Society for Women in Urology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Jones treats both male and female patients for a wide range of benign urologic conditions as well as urologic cancers. Her clinical interests include female voiding dysfunction, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Jones performs surgical repair for pelvic organ prolapse both with and without the use of mesh. Her approach and choice of surgical technique is based on each patient’s unique presentation, medical history, anatomy, as well as personal preferences.
Lynne D. Montano, MSN, APN graduated Summa cum Laude from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 1984 with a degree in nursing. After achieving over 20 years of critical care, hospital and office nursing experience she completed her Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2009. As a Nurse Practitioner she provides keen clinical and diagnostic skills for the urology patient. Lynne has advanced training in chronic urologic illnesses and diseases of the bladder.
